Ann Simmonds, APRN
Ann
is originally from Kingston, Jamaica. She completed a Diploma in nursing
at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. Ann earned
her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Brenau University, Gainesville,
Georgia and went on to get he Master’s of Science in Nursing at
Kennesaw University in Kennesaw, Georgia. She is licensed as a Family
Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse in the State Georgia. Her work
experience and background has been in pediatrics (emergency room, intensive
care services and research). She worked and resided in the British Islands
for about two years as an OR nurse. Her hobbies include reading, walking,
music, dragon-boat padding( her most recent passion). Ann joined PEA in
July 2003 and continues to enjoy the daily rewards and challenges of this
bustling practice.
