Melissa A. Carlucci , MD
Dr.
Carlucci joined PEA in 2006. She began her formal education in
state at the University of Georgia where she earned her Bachelor’s
Degree in Biology. She then went on to earn her Medical Degree from the
Medical College of Georgia. She completed both her residency in General
Pediatrics and her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at the Medical
University of South Carolina, Charleston, S.C.
Dr. Carlucci is member
of several professional organizations including The Endocrine
Society, the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society, the American
Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and The Turner Syndrome Society
of the United States. She has given multiple presentations and has several
abstracts as well as a publication in Mediguide to Endocrinology. Dr.
Carlucci joined PEA in 2005 and some of her hobbies include reading and
music.
